About me
Hi, I’m Szymon.
I study mathematics at AGH University of Krakow and have been tutoring for four years. I prepare students for the basic and extended Matura and the International Baccalaureate, and help university students with their maths courses.
In my own Matura I scored 100% in mathematics at basic level and 95% at extended level.

How I work
Understanding, not recipes.
I start by diagnosing gaps in a student’s knowledge and build a plan around the specific exam and deadline.
I teach for understanding rather than memorised procedures — a background in higher mathematics lets me show where a formula actually comes from.
I work through common mistakes and marking criteria, so students stop losing marks on how a solution is written up.
I explain difficult ideas in plain language and give regular feedback to both the student and their parents.
